1. Data controller

The data controller for Chilena is Alessandro Micieli. For privacy requests or to exercise your rights, write to info@chilena.app.

2. Data we process

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we may process the account identifier, name and email address made available by the provider. We also store the teams and players you follow and the preferences linked to your profile.

If you enable notifications, we process the device token, your notification preferences, the app version, language and time zone. On your device we keep technical settings, such as your choice to show odds.

We may receive technical and diagnostic information, such as system version, app events, errors and crashes. We do not ask for precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or health data.

3. Guest mode

You can use the available features as a guest without creating an account. In this mode your preferences stay mainly on the device and are not linked to a personal Chilena profile.

We process data to create and manage your account, sync teams and preferences, provide scores and statistics, deliver the notifications you request, ensure security and stability, and answer support requests.

The applicable legal bases are performance of the service you requested, consent for optional features such as notifications, legitimate interest in security and technical improvement, and any legal obligations.

5. Third-party services

Chilena uses Google Firebase services for authentication, database, push notifications, diagnostics and technical measurement of the app; Google Sign-In for sign-in; Sign in with Apple for sign-in with Apple; BSD Football API for sports data; GNews for news content and links.

When the app communicates with these services, the technical data needed for the request may be transmitted, including your IP address. Each provider processes data according to its own terms and privacy notices. Chilena does not sell your personal data.

6. Notifications

Notifications are sent only after you grant permission in iOS. You can choose which events to receive and change or withdraw your consent at any time from the app or from iOS Settings.

7. Sports odds

The “Show betting odds” preference is optional and is saved on your device. Chilena shows odds for information only and does not allow you to place bets or deposit money.

8. Retention and security

Data linked to your account is kept while the account remains active or for as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, Chilena deletes your profile and associated data from its active systems, except for data that must be kept temporarily for legal obligations, security, abuse prevention, or technical backups that are deleted periodically.

We adopt reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, although we cannot guarantee the absolute security of transmissions or computer systems.

9. Your rights and deletion

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing, where provided by law. You can delete your account directly from the Profile: this removes your profile, followed teams and players, notification preferences and linked devices.

10. Changes

This notice may be updated when the app’s features, providers or legal requirements change. The date of the last update is shown at the top; significant changes will be communicated in the app where necessary.
